This mom loves the Razorbacks!

I am so excited that Tyler Wilson is going to be able to play this weekend against Rutgers. I thinks we will play better Saturday but I don't know if it will be enough. Any opinions?

Badgers vs. Scrappers

Well it has been a long time since I last posted and I am hoping to reentergize my blog once again. I am super excited after attending my sons 9th grade Badger win over Hope Bob Kittens last night. Josh has some very talented players on his team and I can not wait to see them next year. Tonight is a huge game for us as we will be taking on the Nashville Scrappers. We have held a long rivalry and did not get to play them last year but as we have gone to a 3A school we will once again face them on their home field. Strangely enough the schools and colleges in Clark County are undefeated. This may be our big year!

No Weiner-Dogs Here

Well the Arkansas State Board of Education has ruled that our school, Delight Bulldogs, can not consolidate with a school, Weiner, some 200 miles away. The district has until the 1st of March to find a nearby school district to consolidate with or the state will force a merger. Prescott and Murfreesboro school districts are about 12 miles away so I would think that is a safe bet. When I was a kid I was bused about 25 miles away to school and it was no big deal. Everything will work out in the end. I would personally like to see the kids be able to pick from the surrounding districts.
I have not heard anyone talking about it in town so I think everyone already knew it was a longshot. I would love to have seen what a Weiner Dog mascot would look like. LOL!

Low Calorie Snack Favorites

Well in my battle of the bulge I put something in my mouth every 3 hours. If it is not meal time then I get a snack or nibble. These are my favorite snacks:

Orange
Apple
Small banana
Cottage cheese
Fruit roll up
Quaker rice cakes (7=60calories)
Boiled egg
Spoon of peanut butter (really stays with you)
Quaker chewy bars (100calorie variety)
Nabisco 100 calorie snacks
Snack pack pudding Fat Free (80 calories)
Sugar free jello with a spoon of lite cool whip (25 whooping calories)

Least Favorite:
Nabisco 100calorie sweet&salty kettle flavor

Helpful Computer Tip

There is nothing more heartbreaking than losing your family pictures. I can not tell you how many times a year my husband has to tell someone that their family pictures can not be retrieved from their computer. In the past year my husband has had a mom lose her babies pictures, and two customers who lost the pictures of a mom and sister in their final days of life.
Never store your precious pictures to the computer only. You can save your pictures on a backup disk or pin drive. There are several reasons why this can happen; corrosion, hard drive crashing and virus's. If your hard drive seems to be having problems try to back you files up immediately. It may help save some of your data. Save yourself a lot of heartache and always keep important files backed up.
