Well Valentines Day is two short weeks away and it is a good time to start an inexpensive project with the kids, and time to make use of all those loose pictures laying around.
I am using a couple of old picture frames that I have laying around; however, the Dollar Tree is a good place to get inexpensive wood frames. I am using an 8x10.
If you are going to do a picture project with your daycare class or youth group go ahead and start asking for loose pictures now. Sometimes you will find a child that does not have picture of themselves. Take the time to take a few pictures of them beforehand to reduce embarrassment or anxiety. If you would like take all the pictures yourself.
1. Cut a piece of construction paper to an 8x10 size. I prefer red. Allow the children to arrange their pictures and place them using stick glue.
2. Using your computer make a label to place on the collage with a Happy Valentines message that each child comes up with, The childs name, and date.
3. If you would like the frame can be decorated with beads, glitter, or small ribbon roses that can be found at your local Walmart fabric center.
